Henry County Georgia
Progress on Project Lifesaver...
Friends, family, and all concerned:
You may know that getting Project
Lifesaver for Henry County has been, and still is a goal of mine. Those
who know our family know about our daughter Hannah, who is autistic, and
is a escape artist/runner. She is not alone, and it's not just for the
children. I have recently received the package of information from
Project Lifesaver organization, have gathered a number base to get an
estimated number of receivers and transmitters would be needed. I have
spoken with and gathered feedback on other counties in Georgia who
already have this system, and hope to speak to Henry county officials to
get to a approval and support, to move forward in this project. Then the
next stages will be funding, distribution, maintenance funding, and
expansion (if needed). I need ideas on the funding, especially the
maintenance funding so after someone receives the device, will have
little to zero cost to them. Some counties have a monthly fee for the
recipients; I would like to see zero cost to the financially strapped
families. Henry County is a great county, known for it's generosity.
From private, corporate, and others, it will take a team effort. If you
have some idea's please drop me a line at
mailto:DaleCrissey@AutismInAtlanta.org
Thanks for you help.
